Our staff is trained and skilled, and each member is certified in radiology and CPR. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars during AAO Conventions and the Utah Association of Orthodontics Conference.
Our team strives to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient, and each member of our team has experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
Jane Gourley- Jane was with Dr. Anderson when they opened the doors for business back in 1988. As you can guess she has lots of experience with the ins and outs of running an orthodontic office. You will see Jane at the reception desk when you check in and schedule appointments. The patients have become part of her extended family as she has welcomed 2nd generation patients to our office for their orthodontic care. She also has another family at home, her husband Boyd. They have 2 daughters, 2 son-in-laws and 5 beautiful grandchildren who are the love of her life. When Jane is away from the office she enjoys traveling. Some of her favorite places she has been are Switzerland, Hawaii, Tahiti and most recently Alaska. When she is not on the road, she loves to sew, especially quilt blocks. Jane has also become a talented cake decorator. She has made many beautiful wedding cakes for family and friends.
Sylvia Kuehn- Sylvia has worked in the orthodontic field for almost 14 years. She loves SMILES! She joined Dr. Anderson’s team in 2004 as a clinical assistant and is now our South Jordan Treatment Coordinator. Sylvia is a wonderful asset to our team with her experience in the clinic and also in the front office. Sylvia is married to a wonderful husband, Kevin and together they have three fantastic boys, a daughter in-law and three beautiful grandchildren all of whom keep her busy. With her son Colin in right field and her husband Kevin in his coaching uniform. Sylvia spends most of her spare time at any baseball field from Saint George to Brigham City. She is surrounded by boys, but manages to still get in some scrap book time and sneaks away to dancing classes. Sylvia is also a wonderful a cook. She sometimes shares her cooking talent with the rest of the staff. We love it!!!!!!
Vicki Bennion- Vicki joined Dr. Anderson's orthodontic team in 2004 and has worn several different hats from the marketing coordinator, financial coordinator and is now our project manager. Vicki has lived in South Jordan for the last 19 years and enjoys seeing many of her friends and neighbors come into our office. She is married to Brain, and together they have 4 children, and a wonderful son and daughter in law. She loves sports, both playing, and watching her boys play. The Bennion's are BIG University of Utah football fans. Vicki loves computers, electronic gadgets, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Jaci Twiss-Once a patient of Dr. Anderson's Jaci returned as an employee in September of 2005. She loves being back at the office, this time as part of the team. When she's not working at the office you'll most likely find her hard at work on a film set. With a few local TV ads and three full-length feature films under her belt, she is continuing toward her dream of becoming an actress, thankfully with the support from Dr. Anderson and staff! In her free time you can usually find her at a concert, working on a craft project, at the movies, or at a Real soccer or Bee's baseball game.
Luci Dahlstrom- Luci comes to us from the beautiful country of Brazil. She was raised in Rio de Janeiro and came to the United States to attend college. She meet and married her best friend, Grant and together they have 5 children and 8 grand children. Luci is a wonderful addition to Dr. Anderson’s practices as our financial coordinator. She speaks 3 languages, English, Spanish, Portuguese and is now learning Italian. She has worked in the orthodontic field for 8 years as a financial coordinator. She joined our team in 2006 when she and her husband moved to Utah from Denver. Some things she enjoys when not submitting insurance claims are, reading, cooking, hiking, running, traveling, marshal arts and most of all playing with her grandchildren.
Sharon Ranson- Sharon has 10 years experience in the orthodontic field and has joined our team as the Salt Lake Treatment Coordinator. She loves the interaction she has with the patients and their families. She has enjoyed 38 years of marriage to her sweetheart, Daryl, who still calls her "Babycakes." Together they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Being a mom was great, but being a grandma is totally awesome!! "Best times"--Floating in the pool on a hot summerday, vacationing in Mexico or Disneyland, fishing, reading, cooking, playing with their 2 cats, Murray and Clarence, and of course being together with family and friends.
Cheri Hibbs- Cheri moved to the Salt Lake area from St. George in August 2008 and joined Dr. Anderson orthodontic team. She has been an orthodontic assistant since May of 2007 after she graduated from dental assisting school. Cheri is the proud mother of 6 darling kids, 4 girls and 2 boys, who keep her very busy. When she is not at the office, she enjoys doing all kinds of crafts and watching movies. She also loves outdoor activities like biking, hiking, and camping. We are very excited to have Cheri as part of our team.
Shayla Jones- Shayla has been working in the orthodontic field for two and a half years and joined our team in February 2008 as an assistant. As soon as Shayla came home from her honeymoon she started working for us. She married her childhood sweetheart, Daren. They were both born and raised in Delta, Utah. Together Shayla and Daren play on a coed softball league, enjoy camping and four wheeling. Don’t be surprised if one day you see Shayla driving a big Dodge Cummins Mega Cab truck! She wants to buy one someday!
Jericca Hohenshelt- Jericca has worked in the dental field for 3 years now and has been working as an orthodontics assistant for Dr. Anderson for the last year. She is currently going to Salt Lake Community College to continue her education and get her Dental Hygiene license. Jericca loves sports. When she is not at work or school you might find her at a Bee’s baseball game, she goes to as many games as possible. She has played softball for 12 years and is now on a slow pitch softball league. She also loves going to movies and doing things outdoors. Jericca enjoys working for Dr. Anderson and we love having her on our staff.
Stephanie Jackson- Stephanie grew up in Sandy where she attended Hillcrest High School. In college at UVSC she enjoyed ballroom dancing. She also loves to travel, read and just being goofy. Stephanie joined Dr. Anderson’s orthodontic team in June of 2009 but has worked in orthodontics since she was 16. She started keeping the instrument cleaned and stocked and then trained to be an assistant. Stephanie loves working in the Orthodontic field because she loves kids and enjoys watching their confidence grow as their self esteem improves with their beautiful new smile. She hopes to have a family one day and live in North Carolina.
